Since 2004, the Virgin Olive Oil Contest at the National Olive-Growing Fair (NOF) has been organized by CEPAAL in partnership with the municipalities of Moura and Valpaços, the fair’s promoters, and receives the support of a panel of renowned tasters.

It awards the best domestic olive oils, the best Galega and Cobrançosa single-varietal olive oils, the best organic olive oils, the best Estate and Cooperative olive oils and the best DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) olive oils.
