CEPAAL shows Alentejo Olive Oil to foreign bloggers and journalists

Alentejo Olive Oil is going to be in the spotlight this week during a visit to the region by foreign bloggers and journalists, organised by the Centre for the Study and Promotion of Alentejo Olive Oil (CEPAAL).

From 13th to 15th December, a group of six participants from Brazil, Germany and Canada are going to visit olive groves and mills, becoming familiar with the olive oil producers and the entire production process. During the trip, they will also have the opportunity to try the local cuisine, where olive oil plays a prominent role.

The visit by foreign bloggers and journalists has been organised within the scope of the project “Promoção do Azeito do Alentejo nos Mercados Externos” (Promoting Alentejo Olive Oil in Foreign Markets). Throughout 2018, various olive oil promotional and sampling initiatives are planned with retailers, wholesalers and consumers, as well as participation in strategic food sector fairs in the countries that have been identified as a priority (Brazil, United States, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Denmark).
